“The Commonwealth of Massachusetts” is the official name of Massachusetts. Why? Because John Adams said so when he wrote the Massachusetts Constitution in 1780 with these words contained within:
PART THE SECOND:
“The Frame of Government. The people, inhabiting the territory formerly called the Province of Massachusetts Bay, do hereby solemnly and mutually agree with each other, to form themselves into a free, sovereign, and independent body politic, or state by the name of "THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS"
Legally, Massachusetts is a commonwealth because the term is contained in its Constitution.
Ingredients: brown sugar, salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, mesquite (maltodextrin, natural mesquite smoke flavoring, silicon dioxide), oregano *rice powder added to help reduce caking
