Chai-Licious - Chai Beverage & Baking Spice Blend
Back in the mid-1700s, Bostonians had to pay a tax on their favorite beverage, tea. But after the Boston Tea party of December 16, 1773, that tea tax was repealed. When the streets of your town turn cold and blustery, it's time to think about getting Chai-licious. Add our Chai spice to your favorite black tea, for a healthy tax-free drink.
Of course, we pushed the envelope with our Chai-licious and added it to some of our homemade donuts. We marched on and rolled the donuts in sugar and . . . You guessed it, some more of our distinctive Chai-licious. These were the best over the top donuts you could ever have.
Try this in all your baked sweets too! Add some to cookies, pies, cakes, brownies, fudge, coffee, hot chocolate, bread, muffins, cornbread, protein shakes, smoothies.
Here is the perfect Chai-Licious drink recipe. Makes 8oz:
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tsp CHAI-LICIOUS Spice mix
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 to 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp loose tea
Combine all the above ingredients into a saucepan and place over medium heat. Heat the pan until you start to see small bubbles around the edge. Stir the chai to avoid scalding the milk. When the mixture comes to a boil, turn off the heat and stir well. Bring to a boil one more time, turn off the heat, mix well. Allow all the flavors to meld together for a few minutes. Strain into a cup and enjoy our Boston Spice Chai-Licious.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
Do you offer Chai Decaf or any other decafs?
Our Chai-Licious is a spice blend. It is meant to be added to tea, it does not contain tea. So, therefore it contains no caffeine on its own. You can add it to any tea of your liking, caffeinated or decaffeinated.
