Boston Common - Berbere Blend

translation missing: en.products.product.regular_price $ 4.95 USD

Boston Common is one of our newest spice blends. This highly versatile Ethiopian, Berbere spice is so delicious. Berebere is considered to be the King of spices because it complements so many different foods. We decided to create our own special version of Berbere and we think it will be anything but common, when you taste it.

Try Boston Common on chicken, lamb, pork  vegetables and even grilled fruit. This warm blend of cardamom, coriander, allspice and turmeric will change the way you cook. Make sure to use our blend in your next batch of Doro Wat (spicy chicken stew) and make your meals anything but common. So just grin and Berbere it!

Founded in 1634, the Boston Common is the oldest public park in the United States. First owned by William Blaxton, the first settler of in the area, until he sold it to John Winthrop and the other Puritan founders of the Massachusetts Bay Colony. The Massachusetts militia trained here and the British Army camped here during their 1768 invasion of Boston. The British Army also used this area as a staging ground before their infamous march to Lexington and Concord.  Boston Common was also used as a cow grazing area by the residents of Boston, but that ceased in 1830.
