Abigail Adams
Gilbert Stuart painting started in 1800 and delivered in 1815

President John Adams and his wife, Abigail Adams, moved into the President's House, now known as the White House, in November 1800. The Adams's had grand plans for the upcoming New Year. They served a variety of foods and desserts. Abigail's favorite desserts included Gooseberry Fool, Apple Pan Dowdy, and, of course, Indian Pudding.
Native Americans gave New England settlers Indian Pudding as a gift. Indian Pudding is a cornmeal mush variation.

Boston Spice wanted to honor Abigail's love of baking by creating a spice that outperforms all others, so we named it Abigail Adams baking spice. We combined cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, allspice, and ginger but did not stop there. To finish off this presidential spice blend, we added our own twist of orange.

Try it in cookies, cakes, brownies, cupcakes, pies, bars, coffee, hot cocoa, and, of course, Indian Pudding. With this special blend, you, too, can bake like the First Lady. Blend some into your protein shakes or smoothies. YUMMY! Replace your other baking spice blends with our spice blend. You'll be happy you did!
