The Boston Harbor Islands are made up of 34 islands located in Boston Harbor. Many of these islands can be visited by personal pleasure craft as well as ferry services. You can hike, use the beaches, visit the Civil War era Fort Warren on Georges Island, as well as visit the oldest lighthouse in the the country, Boston Light, on Little Brewster Island. Over time. some of the islands were absorbed to make Logan International Airport and East Boston.
