Henry Wadsworth Longfellow Two If By Sea

Two, If By Sea spice blend will make your seafood the envy of all your landlubber friends. The delicate blend of lemon, tarragon, and green peppercorns, give just the right accent to that good ole' Boston Cod. But, don't stop there. Add "Two, If by Sea" to your shrimp kabobs, pan seared scallops, halibut, flounder, and haddock for that perfect taste of New England.

"One, if by land, and two, if by sea" was the famous line about Paul Revere's midnight ride on April 18, 1775.  Lanterns were to be hung at the top of the Old North Church, originally called Christ Church, which is located in the North End of Boston. It was a signal to Paul Revere as he was rowed across the Charles River from Boston to Charlestown.  As we know from our history, two lanterns were hung at the top of Old North, meaning the British Army was leaving Boston for Concord by sea. They departed from the west side shore of Boston Common, where Charles Street is today.

Ingredients*: crystallized lemon (citric acid, lemon oil, lemon juice, maltodextrin), chives, parsley, green peppercorns, garlic powder, tarragon *all natural rice powder added to reduce caking
