Henry Wadsworth Longfellow One If By Land Two If By Sea

"One, if by land, and two, if by sea", was the famous line about Paul Revere's midnight ride on April 18, 1775.  Lanterns were to be hung at the top of the Old North Church, originally called Christ Church, as a signal to Paul Revere as he was rowed across the Charles River from Boston to Charlestown. As we know from our history, two lanterns were hung at the top of Old North, meaning the British Army was leaving Boston for Concord by sea.

If the British Army were leaving by land, I bet Paul Revere would have had some of our One, If By Land rub on his dinner before he left. Why? Because our One,If By Land rub features a nice helping of Sumatra Blend coffee. It would have given Paul's food that added boost of flavor that he would have needed for one of the most important horse rides in United States history. Be sure to keep this seasoning handy, since it is great on beef, poultry, pork, seafood, and especially those roasted veggies.

Our suggestion: Brush your meat lightly with oil and rub about 2 to 3 tablespoons, per pound of meat, of our One, If By Land blend all over, and let it sit in your refrigerator for about 1 hour. Then cook to your desired temperature.

The land path from Boston to Concord would have been over Boston Neck
