The bill reads as follows:

IN CONGRESS, JUNE 10, 1777.

As General Napoleon Bonaparte said, "To be effective, an army relies on good and plentiful food."

In colonial times, military commissaries were to issue daily rations to the soldiers which included; meat (usually beef or pork), dry beans or peas, bread (usually hardtack), and a gill of rum or beer. An army cannot march on an empty stomach.

We honor this important position and the patriots who benefited from it by creating the Daily Ration seasoning rub. It is a flavorful blend that includes paprika, orange peel, cumin, and chipotle chili. It tastes great on beef, veal, pork, chicken, turkey, you name it, you won't want to ration it. Your stomach will be happy with the help from Boston Spice. General Washington and General Napoleon would have loved it. This will give your food a much needed taste-lift.

Ingredients*: salt, paprika, orange peel, cumin, chipotle chili, sugar, black pepper. *rice powder added to reduce caking.
