Boston Spice The British Are Coming English Mixed Spice / Pudding Spice

It was late at night on April 18, 1775, when Paul Revere rode on a horse named Brown Beauty towards Concord Massachusetts. As he began his ride he alerted the countryside by yelling, "The British are coming! The British are coming!" That's what the famous poem tells us. Unfortunately, that is incorrect. Most of the colonists still considered themselves to be British. Also as Revere's mission was to be as secretive as possible, he would not have been yelling through the woods and on the roads as there were many British sentries all over the place.

But you'll be yelling, "The British are coming! The British are coming!" when you try our 'The British Are Coming' baking spice. This creation is what the English call "Mixed Spice or Pudding Spice". It is used in many sweet baked goods over "across the pond" like their Christmas Pudding. It can be compared to the American Pumpkin Pie spice, but ours is better. So let the revolution begin in your oven with our blend and you will win the war on taste with your deliciously spiced baked goodies.

Rev up the Revolution In Your Mouth by adding some "The British Are Coming" seasoning blend to your French Press the next time you brew up some coffee. You will be shouting "HUZZAH!" with taste pleasure.

Make that gross tasting protein shake taste great or smoothie taste wicked great. Add some to your cookies, brownies, fudge, hot chocolate, whipped cream, pancake and waffle batter, rice crispy marshmallow treats, pies, puddings, cakes, cupcakes, truffles, and more.   Just substitute the spices your recipe says to use with the same amount of our "The British Are Coming!"

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Does your metal jar have a magnetic bottom?

I assume you mean the metal tin. It does not have a magnet on the bottom. You could get magnets at the hardware store and glue them to the bottom.
