Bricked sidewalks, historic churches, and Italian cuisine define Boston’s North End, also known as “Little Italy.” This area is only about one-square-mile in size and has around 10,000 residents. It was the first neighborhood in Boston. The area was used as a bastion for Revolutionary War soldiers, then became an Irish district. In the early 1900’s it became the center of Italian culture. Little Italy has some of the best food, restaurants, bakeries, and festivals in the great city of Boston.

We created Little Italy with all the best Italian flavors in mind. We combined just the right amounts of basil, oregano, rosemary, thyme, and sage. This spice is excellent in classic minestrone soup, meatballs, pasta sauces, dipping oils, fresh veggie or chip dips, garlic butter, and don’t forget to add it to your homemade pizzas. Its uses are endless.

So, “Mangia,” Little Italy spice on all your Italian dishes.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • What spices contain anti-caking agents or additives? Is there a list of all ingredients including type of additives used?

Thank you for your question.  We do not add any chemical anti-caking additives as other spice companies do.  To some of the spice blends, we add an all-natural rice powder as an anti-caking agent to help reduce caking.  Each spice blend we make has its ingredients listed on its respective product page.  See our Boston Spice Faq page for more details.  https://bostonspice.com/pages/boston-spice-faq-page
